BHB Little Worlds (2012- Ongoing)
They are mixed media consisting of a 2.5 inch round oil painting mounted on a wooden disk with a gold fiber ring frame, origami paper, international currency on a 4 x 6 inch canvas in a black wooden frame with a gold fillet. The first one was completed in 2012 and I continue to add to the series.
In these small oil paintings, I create little imaginary worlds.
I cut up discontinued money from our international travels as a permission slip to travel wherever my imagination takes me. I collect ideas and images then supplement them with memories or time travel. Tiny brushes are needed.
