HOW TO BUY

Dear Collector,

Although I no longer have my retail shop on Market Street, you can definitely buy my work!

Email is best way to reach me.

Just send me an email at BarbBlumer@gmail.com to make an inquiry.

Include a description of the piece you are considering. Provide a title or take a screen shot.

Happy to send you additional photos and answer questions.

I realize that buying art online has its challenges; for example, the size of the painting is not easy to judge.

Pricing & Payment

If you confirm you are keen on a piece, I will send you the pricing and an optional "Buy" Button for which will take you to my secure selling site, called Square, or Venmo, if you prefer, where you can buy the painting directly from me.  Or you can pay with a check or cash.

My prices range from $300 to $3200, plus 8% sales tax, if you live in New York state, depending on the size and complexity of the painting.

Yes Shipping

It would be helpful if you would provide your zip code (or postal code) or let me know where you are located, if you would like shipping costs.  I usually ship via the US Postal Service.  UPS is also an option.  Both have tracking and insurance.

Or, we can make arrangements for pick up.

Commissions, Donations, Galleries, Group Shows, Teaching & Tutoring

Sorry,  I don't do commissions.  But I am happy to make referrals to other artists or galleries.

Ditto for teaching and tutoring.  I would get asked a lot when I had my Market Street studio.  It's not for me, but I can suggest some good local art teachers and online video instructors.

Inquiries about donations to charitable events are welcome, but please note that my gifting inventory is very limited and I require three months advance notice.  Thanks.

I like to participate in innovative exhibits and group shows, especially when they support local organizations.  For example, recently, I showed in the "Framed in Fashion" exhibit at the Corning Painted Post Historical Society where they used paintings by local artists to inspire choices from their historical clothing collection.  And another group show was based on creating art at Mark Twain's historic property, Quarry Farm, in Elmira then showing it at the Community Arts building.

I currently don't sell my work through other galleries, except at The Peacock Gallery in Corning which supports  the ARTS Council of the Finger Lakes, but I am always open-minded.

That said, thanks for visiting my online gallery!

Thank you for your interest in my work!
