Bobbi Brown Eye Make Up Paintings

BHB Eye Make Up Paintings (2012-2017)

I applied my personal Bobbi Brown eye makeup with water and brushes on watercolor paper to create these tonal paintings.  It was an experiment one day which became a series over a period of years.

The Tools & Process

My Bobbi Brown eye make up and the brushes I used

An example of one in progress.  There is lots of testing of values one against each other, warm and cool, as you apply the layers of eye make up with water and brushes.  I used Arches watercolor paper for most of them, but the first ones were on basic sketching paper because it was just a lark.
