Grid Paintings
The Grid Paintings are 8x10 oil paintings that I gift to guests who stay with us at the lake. They get to pick one from "the grid", which is a window frame, on the wall of the main guest room. At the time they pick, they are paintings -in - progress. I finish them, frame them, and deliver them at a later date. The grid project provides me with motivation to finish what I start and to keep painting during the summer when I am easily distracted. It is a fun project. I really enjoy gifting them, and seeing who picks what.
